New release… (new features)

I added something pretty cool – when there is an unknown location, it will query all iCal calendars, find events going on right then, and suggest a name for the new location based on the location of those events. This will work great for suggesting new locations that are in iCal as classes and work events.

Future Feature:
  • iCal auto-naming of new locations
  • Sparkle Framework for easier updating
Known issues:
  • iChat away-setting is oddly ordered: set away in iChat, then set message in Airport Location.

Airport Location 0.5026

Should address the issue with scripts not saving.
Now both apple and shell scripts will save from snapshot to snapshot, and when a new group is created.

First semi-stable version…

Here are the list of known bugs: perhaps you can comment or email me if you find any new ones?
AirportLocation (0.5025)
  • Custom scripts not saved while taking snapshot
  • Custom scripts not saved while naming new group
  • ichat status can’t set @available or @away easily
  • Sometimes the menu shows “unique” when the location actually belongs to a group
I’m working on these – I’ll post a new version soonish.
